Simple Chocolate Cupcakes

Craving something sweet but don’t want to spend all day baking? These simple chocolate cupcakes are the answer! They’re quick, easy, and oh-so-delicious, with a rich, chocolatey flavor that’s sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. Whether you're whipping them up for a last-minute party, a cozy treat for yourself, or just because you’re in the mood for chocolate, these cupcakes are the perfect go-to. Trust me, they’ll become your new favorite bake once you try them!

Yields: (12 cupcakes)

 

Ingredients:

Cake:

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 1 3/4 cups flour

  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder

  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 cup coffee and milk

  • 1/2 cup oil

Frosting:

  • 2 cup confectioners

  • 1 cup butter

  • 6 - 8 oz melted chocolate


 

Steps:

Preheat your oven to 350 F. Prepare a cupcake tin.

Then, in a bowl, whisk all the dry ingredients together. Then, in a separate bowl, mix all the wet ingredients. Combine the two mixtures and pour them into the prepared tin. Bake for 27-32 minutes. Melt the chocolate. Set aside to cool. Beat the butter and confectioners together. Then add the cooled chocolate. Mix until creamy and smooth. Ice the cupcakes. Enjoy!
