Get ready to make the cutest (and surprisingly easiest) dessert ever—cake pops! These little bites of cake and frosting, dipped in chocolate and decorated however you like, are as fun to make as they are to eat. The best part? You can customize them in endless ways, from flavors to decorations, making them perfect for any occasion. Whether you're keeping it simple or going all out with sprinkles, drizzles, or edible glitter, this post has everything you need to create the ultimate cake pops!

Yields: (25 pops)
Ingredients:
cake mix(any flavour)
4 eggs
oil and water according to cake box instructions
1/4 - 1/2 cup frosting (store-bought any flavor)
1 1/2 - 2 cups chocolate
3-4 tbsp oil
1/2 cup white chocolate or candy melt
food coloring
Equipment:
Cake pop Sticks
Some sort of stand or piece of foam where they can dry
*Both things can be found at Walmart or Amazon.
Steps:
Make the Cake: Make the cake following the instructions on the back but add an extra egg. Bake according to cake instructions.
Mix: As soon as the cake is out of the oven cut it up and put it into your mixer. The mixer will crush it and the steam will help hold it together. Add in frosting until it clumps up and is play doh consistancy.
Shape: Shape the mixture into balls and put them on a baking tray. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
Sticks: Melt the chocolate in the microwave for 30 sec until the chocolate is runny. Dip each stick in the melted chocolate before sticking them into the cake balls. Refrigerate again for 5-10 minutes.
Coat: Once they are out, melt the chocolate again and add the oil to it. This will give it a smoother consistency. Dip each cake pop into the chocolate only once. Hold and tap very gently to remove excess chocolate. Put in your stand/foam and repeat for the rest of the cake balls. Re-melt the chocolate as needed. Put the cake balls in the fridge for 10 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened.
Drizzle: Melt the white chocolate and color it with any color of choice. Once it has reached a likable color put it into a piping bag or ziploc and drizzle the chocolate over the hardened chocolate. Place in the fridge for 5 minutes. Let it come to room temp. before serving. 5432wq
