Butter Chicken:

Butter chicken is an elite desi comfort food. Whether it’s a cold morning or just one of those days where everything feels off, there’s nothing like a warm plate of butter chicken to make you feel alive again. Creamy, flavorful, and deeply satisfying, it’s the kind of dish that brings instant peace with every bite. Pair it with naan or basmati rice and you’ve got the kind of meal that fixes moods, not just hunger. Follow along for the recipie ✨✨

Yeilds: (5 servings)
Ingredients:
1 lb boneless chicken cubes
1/4 cup yogurt
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp tumeric
1 tsp chat masala
1/2 cup water
1/2 red onion
2 tomatoes
1 green chilli pepper (put half or skip if you have low spice tolerance)
1 kanore cube
1/2 cup heavy cream
Steps:
Take your boneless chicken and wash well. In a bowel marinate the chicken with yogurt, chili powder, salt, coriander, cumin, and chat masala. Set in fridge overnight or 1-2 hrs.
In a separate bowl take your tomatoes onion chili and konor cube and boil in the water. Boil until all the water has dissapered.
Once the water has dissapered put everything in a blender and blend until a paste has formed. Set aside.
Once marinated pour the oil in a large pan. Put the marinated chicken in the pan and cook on high heat only until the color has changed. (5 -7 minutes)
Then add in the tomato paste. Cook on medium heat for 20 - 25 mintes until the chicken is fully cooked.
Then add in the heavy cream. Fee free to add more or less based on your preferance. Cook for another 3- 5 minutes.
Garnish with cilantro and some more cream. Serve with naan or rice.
